Senior Independent Living Community – Marquette, Michigan
Mill Creek Commons is a new 20 unit cottage style, Senior independent living neighborhood located on a 2.4 acre parcel in the Harlow Farms Conservation Community in Marquette. We began this project in June of 2013, built it over several phases and completed it Summer 2015. We designed two types of units, 916 and 996 sq. ft. each of living area, two bedrooms, one bath, living room, kitchen, and laundry, both with single attached garages. Each unit is all one level, no steps, and designed to be ADA accessible throughout. This was the first Private Pay Independent Living project developed in Marquette. It is across the street from Mill Creek Assisted Living and shares services such as care, meals and housekeeping services.
